Anna

While studying geography and tourism management in university, Anna began to lead local study tours in the field of sustainable development and history. She continued to learn about business and sales after completing her studies while traveling around the world for work in several multinational companies. Now Anna is a passionate tour guide who offers both inner city and countryside tours.

Maybe you want to visit Balaton, the largest European lake surrounded by historical sites, or take a trip to the Eger fortress where Hungarian soldiers defended their community against the Ottoman army in 1552. There are several towns and sites that are just a short drive outside the city filled with fascinating history and beautiful scenery. If you decide to stay inside Budapest there are several tours to choose from including the Pest walking tour, Buda Castle district tour, and a secret tour that takes you off the beaten path to some of the more hidden and unknown city sites.

She has experience with kids from working in schools, is happy to accommodate to the older adult population who might have difficulty walking, and is always willing to explore the city on foot for the athletic travelers.

Whether you are interested in the city’s general history, a specific site, art, or Hungarian food, Emily will make sure you end her tour with all your questions answered. She can take you on a sightseeing tour to some of the city’s top sites such as the Basilica, Parliament, Andrassy Avenue, Opera, Chain Bridge, Matthias Church, and Danube Corso. Andrea is originally from Venezuela and has been living in Paris for 2 years. She fell in love with energy, colors, and architecture of Paris during her first visit, and since moving there, her love for the city has only grown! Around every corner, there is a unique story, and every street gives off its own personality. While Andrea has several pre-designed tours based on different topics and interests, she is happy to create a custom tour if there is something specific you are interested in. Some of her tours will take you to popular landmarks and sites, while others are based on specific themes such as fashion, sports, urban life, Bohemian culture, and Paris-filmed movies. Andrea wants to share her love of Paris with you and show you another side to the city that you wouldn’t otherwise know or might miss while exploring on your own.

Alex is a native Parisian and licensed tour guide, offering tours to individuals and groups up to 12. Limiting the group size is a way to make sure all tour participants can hear the information and comfortably ask questions without fighting to get to the guide. Alex’s tours can last anywhere from one hour to the entire day, he can purchase tickets ahead of time to help you avoid long lines, and will even help you plan your visit to Paris. Flora

Flora is a licensed tour guide, specializing in the Jewish walking tours in Le Marais. She was born and raised in heart of the Jewish quarter in Paris and is very close to her Jewish origins. After studying history and art history at the Sorbonne University, she decided to become a guide with the hopes of revealing the city’s Jewish history that you would never find in a tour book. Flora is passionate about Paris, her Jewish origins, and sharing her vast knowledge with visitors who come to explore her hometown.

Ramon

Ramón was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but because his family is Spanish they decided to move to Madrid ten years ago. As a child, Ramon had a passion for art and he enjoyed painting and drawing, which led him to his degree in Fine Arts. He enjoys roaming around the city with a sketchbook, drawing out the city’s top stops and getting to know the city. While exploring the city through art, Ramon became interested in Madrid’s history and discovered that he was constantly surrounded by history everywhere he went. Ramon is definitely a people-person and he enjoys sharing his knowledge about the city with the visitors who want to learn about it.

Laurence Summers

Laurence Summers was born and raised in London and is a qualified Blue Badge tour guide. While he can tell you the history of the top sights in London such as, the Westminster Abbey and St Paul’s Cathedral, he also offers a few more specialized tours. Maybe you are interested in literature, football, art, music, or you wish to hear the tale of Jack the Ripper or of the Great Fire of London tragedy.

There are also several other areas of further distances in the country that Laurence can take you to as well, either by car or train. You can explore the history of the Windsor Castle, the Hampton Court Palace, Stonehenge, or the Blenheim Palace. Wherever you want to explore, Laurence will be happy to accompany you and teach you everything he knows.

When not working or guiding she supports her local independent cinema, The Phoenix, East Finchley, where she was a Trustee for over 20 years. Rachel has published four books, Jewish London (2012), Whitechapel in 50 Buildings (2016), Secret Whitechapel (2017) and Women’s London (2018) and she is thrilled to have been a guest lecturer on cruises since 2009.

Sabrina Scaglianti

Sabrina was born and raised in Venice and has always been interested in the anthropology of traveling and tourism. She has worked in the tourism business since the early 90’s, mainly working as a guide in Venice, but she also leads seminars and volunteers for A.F.S. and the European Federation for Intercultural Learning. Sabrina offers a variety of tours for groups with a variety of interests.
