Dorit Tirosh
I am Dorit Tirosh, a tour guide form Zichron Yaakov. A guided tour names “From Founder’s Stree to Wine Route” can be integrated into your trip and get you acquainted with the long and facinating history of the Moshava. For large groups I recommend a “Location Treasure Hunt” game that takes after the American The Amazing Race, leading participants to perform tasks in selected museums, businesses, and venues.

Akko (Acre) Israel is an old city with a natural port at the northern tip of Haifa Bay. This natural port, standing at the end of the mainland route linking the wealth of the east with the Mediterranean Sea,has made Akko strategically important for thousands of years. As you wander through the old city, you are surrounded by buildings, tunnels, and walls, all from different periods in history.
Akko, especially the old city, is blessed with many attractions including the Inn of columns, the Knights Hospitaller wholes, The ancient fortifications, a colorful market and much more. Akko’s fabulous local market with the charm of an old city, don’t miss ou the excellent baklava sweets shop at the market!
Across from the mosque, you can walk down several levels and see how the Turks built many levels over the Crusaders city. The Knights’ Hall is the most beautiful of all, which was used by the Crusaders for ceremonies. Today the main hall is used for concerts.
Slava Bazarsky
My name is Slava, I’m a Private Tour Guide in Israel.I was born in Ukraine and moved to Israel with my family on the 1988 “Aliya.” We were on our way to the United States, but God had other plans for us, so we ended up in Israel. I served in the Israeli military in one of the top intelligence units, which was unquestionably one of the best experiences of my life in terms of maturing and acquiring various “tools” for the future.
I’m married with two beautiful daughters. I graduated from the University of Tel Aviv with a BA in International Relations, and my next step was the Israel Ministry of Tourism academy, where I gained 2.5 years of valuable experience and a depth of knowledge about my beloved home, Israel. I adore my incredible country, and after completing my military service, I work as a licensed private tour guide in Israel, specializing in cultures, religions, gastronomy, architecture, and archeology. I crossed Israel back and forth and flipped every stone to tell you everything there is to know about my country.
I have been working as a private tour guide in Israel since 2006, and I am currently ranked in the top 10 best Israeli tour companies and among the best Israeli tour guides. I was also nominated by TripAdvisor as one of the best private tour guides in Israel in 2019 and won second place! I am fluent in five languages (English, Russian, Hebrew, Arabic, and Ukrainian), and my services have been used by some of the world’s largest corporations and their guests.
Traveling is my passion, and meeting new people is the best part of my job; I can honestly say that I have never worked a day in my life because I enjoy meeting different people from various countries and opening up a new dimension for them; I have many interests, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with others; “working” as a private Israeli tour guide Is the best thing that ever happened to me because it appears to be a very complicated job for many people, but for me, it is the easiest and most enjoyable job in the world.

Shalom ! I created European Jewish Heritage Tours in 1998 because I strongly believed that Europe was making amends for its terrible past, by investing in the rebuilding of Jewish communities across the Continent, and inaugurating new museums and Jewish centers in key European capitals.
As the European Editor of INSIDE Magazine, the quarterly published by The Jewish Exponent of Philadelphia, I had the chance to personally visit and write about many of these destinations and in so doing, found a fascinating Jewish legacy everywhere I went. I also discovered others through researching my four books: Little-known Museums In and Around Paris, London, Berlin and Rome.
The aim of European Jewish Heritage Tours today is to propose private customized tours for groups and individuals that offer an overview that both reveals the European Jewish past, and invites a discovery of Jewish life today. As the “Chosen People” we have the privilege and responsibility of knowing and honoring our heritage wherever it may be.

Everything I do, I do it with passion. In order to understand the past, we must analyze it, make it tangible, and bring the past to life.
I grew up in Slovenia, but moved to Austria to study music, and settled down in this beautiful country where I met my husband. We are parents to three sweet children – Jakob, Frida and Greta. Our family loves living in Austria, but we are also thankful to have had an amazing experience living in the United States for several months.
Since 2012, I have enjoyed working for the Esterhazy Foundation. Learning about the historical estate of Dr. Paul V. Esterházy, the last reigning prince led to my passion for sharing Austria’s past. Studying to become a state-certified tour guide allowed me to make that dream a reality.
My goal is to inspire you with the past. Take a walk with me through centuries of Austrian history.
Elisabetta Gulino
Born 1962 in Caltagirone/Sicily, daughter to a German speaking Swiss mother and a Sicilian father, I spent my childhood and youth mainly in Sicily, South Tyrol, and Switzerland.
Very early I got in touch with the fascinating world of foreign languages and tourism. After spending long periods of time abroad – in Switzerland, Germany, Great Britain, Spain and France – for study and work purposes and after getting a University degree in Modern Languages at Verona University, I gained work experience in different industries: foreign trade, manufacturing industry, education, tourism. Music, Photography, Architecture, Crafts, Food & Wine have ever since been among my main interests.
I now work in tourism, a very dynamic, exciting and demanding environment, which constantly offers me new challenges and opportunities. Since 1997 I have been working as a freelance official tour guide in Ferrara and its Province, and as an official tour leader since 2000.
Delphine Yagüe CulturistiQ
Meetings, guided tours or workshops about a specific theme for a 1h30 to 2 hours experience, in a pedagogical and entertaining setting, for group up to 20 persons. Those experiences are built jointly by CulturistiQ and its partners: each partner presents the specificities of its work and heritage while CulturistiQ presents the same thematic through the point of view of Rashi and his disciples. As the writings of the Sages of Champagne are wonderful testimonies of daily life in the Middle Ages in Champagne, it is easy to transmit the local medieval way of life through their description of tools and technics, relationships between Jews and Christians, food, agriculture, nature and so on… All through the “experience”, CulturistiQ and its partners offer a dialogue between elements of local culture and Jewish local history/Jewish culture.
Giovanna Bossi Rosenfeld
I am Giovanna Bossi Rosenfeld, a licensed Tour Guide specialized in Jewish Tours of Florence.
Since 2006 I have led a team of Guides, each carefully selected for knowledge, enthusiasm, and a commitment to sharing the history and culture of Jewish and Renaissance Florence.
History, art and Judaism are my three passions at the foundation of my training, which led me to become a qualified tour guide specializing in tours in Florence and Tuscany with a Jewish perspective.
I was born and raised in Florence, where I got my University degree in Architecture. After significant experience as an architect specializing in ancient building restoration, I decided to follow my passion for art, history and Jewish life, culture, and history. First, I served as internal guide for the Synagogue and Jewish Museum of Florence. Then, in 1998, I was licensed as a Tour Guide of Florence, officially certified by the Regione Toscana.
From the start I focused on customized Jewish itineraries of Florence and Tuscany. I have studied Hebrew, I regularly visit Israel, I am currently collaborating with the Jewish Community of Florence and also have very good relationships with all Jewish Communities throughout Tuscany, including Livorno, Pisa, Siena and Pitigliano.
