Flora is a licensed tour guide, specializing in the Jewish walking tours in Le Marais. She was born and raised in heart of the Jewish quarter in Paris and is very close to her Jewish origins. After studying history and art history at the Sorbonne University, she decided to become a guide with the hopes of revealing the city’s Jewish history that you would never find in a tour book. Flora is passionate about Paris, her Jewish origins, and sharing her vast knowledge with visitors who come to explore her hometown.

She never stops searching for knowledge and new experiences and has studied culture, art, archeology, and philosophy. While exploring the city through art, Ramon became interested in Madrid’s history and discovered that he was constantly surrounded by history everywhere he went. Before embarking on her career as Guide and Lecturer Rachel, a qualified librarian, worked as an information professional in the financial services industry for over 25 years being recognized at the industry level with the Information Professional of the Year award in 2006. Her professional organization, SLA, awarded her the Membership Achievement Award in 2008.
When not working or guiding she supports her local independent cinema, The Phoenix, East Finchley, where she was a Trustee for over 20 years. Rachel has published four books, Jewish London (2012), Whitechapel in 50 Buildings (2016), Secret Whitechapel (2017) and Women’s London (2018) and she is thrilled to have been a guest lecturer on cruises since 2009.

She has worked in the tourism business since the early 90’s, mainly working as a guide in Venice, but she also leads seminars and volunteers for A.F.S. and the European Federation for Intercultural Learning. Luisella has worked as a registered tour guide in Venice since May 2000, when she was officially certified by the Regione Veneto. She is also a member of the Association of Registered Tourist Guides in Venice and the National Association of Tourist Guides in Italy. After graduating from the University in Venice Ca’ Foscari with a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature, she traveled abroad where she continued to study art and history.
