Fiona Guisto

Fiona was born and raised in the beautiful city of Venice where she attended school and graduated with a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature from Ca’ Foscari university. She started working as a professional guide in Spring 2000 after obtaining her licence from the Regione Veneto. Since then, she has worked with clients from around the world leading tours in art and Venetian palaces, by foot and on boats, and to both classical sights and hidden gems around the city. 

Nicoletta Consentino

Nicoletta has worked as a professional guide in Venice since 2009 and enjoys showing the beautify of her city to those around the world who come to see it.  Her tours usually last 3-4 hours, but can last as long as it needs to cover the interests of her clients, whether that be food, art, or history. Nicoletta can show you the palaces, museum, and monuments of Venice, as well as the hidden canals and cultural spots. 

Venice Photo Walk

This guided photo walk allows you to see Venice through a new lens and capture some of the most beautiful spots in the city. The guides are photo reporters and photographers and are excited to show you hidden sights outside the usual tourist routes as well as how to capture the most stunning images of famous landmarks. It doesn’t matter if you are an experienced photographer with a professional camera or just appreciate photography as a hobby on your iPhone, your guide will help you take breathtaking photographs. You will learn which lenses and settings to use, and how to use lighting to create photographic art. At the end of the tour, you will have photographs that tell a story and truly capture the beauty of your stay in Venice.

Pavel Batel

Pavel Batel is a renowned researcher and historian specializing in the history of the Terezín Ghetto. Over the years, he has conducted extensive interviews with survivors, piecing together a mosaic of powerful, forgotten stories that highlight the courage and resilience of everyday heroes during the Holocaust. His meticulous research and dedication have culminated in the publication of several acclaimed books on Terezín, shedding light on its complex and often overlooked history.

In addition to his written work, Pavel frequently delivers lectures at Holocaust education institutions worldwide, sharing his expertise with students, scholars, and the general public. His compelling storytelling and deep knowledge have made him a sought-after speaker and a regular guest in media discussions on Holocaust history.

Recognizing the importance of preserving and sharing the broader Jewish heritage, Pavel has also assembled a team of experts, including historians and professional guides, to cover not only Terezín but also other significant Jewish and general historical sites. This collaborative approach ensures a comprehensive and high-quality educational experience for all those seeking to learn about Jewish history and its enduring legacy.

Eva Adamová

Eva is a licensed guide in Prague and several other towns in the Czech Republic, providing interesting and fun tours all over the city. She has in depth knowledge about the historical sites around Prague and knows hidden details that you’d be likely to miss on your own. 

Jewish Heritage Walk

This Jewish Heritage Walk will give you a full overview of Jewish history in Amsterdam from 1600 up until the Jewish history today. The tour begins with a quick geographical explanation of Amsterdam Jews in Spain and Portugal around 1600 and then moves into the center of the former Jewish quarter, where the Jewish population was once thriving.

From there, you will get a view from the St Antonie’s sluis where you can see the Motelbeans tower, a place that according to the legend, the first rabbi in Amsterdam landed. On the tour you will see the Rembrandt house, the first diamond factory in Europe, the Waterlooplein, the first official synagogue, The Plantage war and Holocaust memories, a sculpture of the philosopher Spinoza, and finally, the monument for the Jewish resistance during World War II.

You will hear stories of Portuguese Jews who are related to the Dutch royal family and learn about the horror the Jews experienced under Nazi occupation and the effect this had on the population of Amsterdam. When you complete the tour, you will understand the importance of the Jewish community and culture in Amsterdam and the richness they added to Amsterdam society since their arrival in 1600.
