The beauty of the Chagall Windows, the light they emanate and the perfection of Chagall’s work will be found at Hadassah Hospital in Ein Kerem, Jerusalem. The twelve stained glass windows were created by the famous Jewish-French artist, Russian born Marc Chagall (1887-1985) as a present to the State of Israel and the Jewish People. You can visit the Chagal windows on a private tour of Jerusalem!

Most of the people who visit the site are not seeking medical treatment nor do they come to pray. They come in great numbers just to see this world-renowned work of art. These sets of windows made of stainless steel and measures approximately 3.5 m by 2.5 meters represent the Twelve Tribes of Israel that entered the Land of Israel under the leadership of Joshua.

They have arranged three windows on each side in the following order: Reuben, Simeon, and Levy on the east; Judah, Zebulon and Issachar on the south; Dan Gad and Asher on the west and Naphtali, Joseph and Benjamin of the northern wall. The entire window’s art is based on Jacob’s final blessing and in the same order, they were mentioned. In some of the windows appear some texts taken from the Book of Genesis.

Asnat Cohen

Asnat is a bi-lingual tour guide who guides both in English and Dutch. She has an extensive background in Christian and Jewish history and a lot of experience guiding not only individuals and VIP tours but also larger groups. Her professional background includes working with the Hadassa Medical Institute as one of their top guides.
Asnat is a top guide for VIP guests as well as guests with various disabilities.

Being a top tour guide is all about providing a reach, personal experience that includes all angles of the country. If you are only an expert in ancient history or modern history you will provide your guests with a very limited experience. Connecting the dots between past and present history, between language, culture, people and places that is the real challenge of being a top guide.

Reuven Geffen

If you or your family, friends, acquaintances, associates, whoever, are thinking of traveling to Israel and you would like to enjoy the services of a professional guide- I’ll be happy to hear from you! Since I moved from the United States to Israel 40 years ago, I have spent a great deal of my time hiking and touring this beautiful country that is unparalleled in the richness of its history. I want to share this passion with you and show you the natural and cultural wonders of Israel. I promise you excellent service and an unforgettable experience that will be custom planned according to your particular interests and needs. A private guided tour is the best way to see Israel!

Aaron Shaffier

I’m a licensed tour guide who guides groups, families and individuals to all parts of this amazing land called Israel. I specialize in tours designed to bring the Tanach (Bible) and Jewish history to life. I will work with you or your organization to tailor an itinerary to your needs. A tour guide can make or break your experience when visiting Israel. If you are planning a group tour through a tour provider, ask for me by name! You will know that you are getting a guide who is passionate about this land and will go the extra mile to make every member of your group happy.

Groups:
I work with you and your tour provider to build the ideal itinerary to meet your needs. When speaking to your tour provider, ask for me by name, that way I can be involved in the planning stages of your itinerary. Often tour providers want to impress you with how many sites they can squeeze into a short trip. I will work with you and your provider to create a realistic itinerary that will allow your group to truly enjoy their visit to the Holy Land.

Families and Individuals:
I will work with you to create an itinerary that will make your whole family happy. I will help you find the best options for lodging whether it be a hotel or bed and breakfast (Tzimmer) and I will help you find restaurants that cater to your price level and any special needs like Kashrut.

When you take me as a guide for your family, you will rent and drive your own vehicle and I will guide you. This saves you a lot of money. Guides who drive their own vehicle charge significantly more because they are doing two jobs at the same time, tour guide and taxi driver.

Sipur

Taking tour during a trip to Israel can enhance your travel experience by learning about the area from someone who lives there!

If you have never traveled to Israel before, but do not want to do an arranged package tour where you travel with the same group for the whole trip, consider doing an independent trip, but “supplementing” by arranging several day tours. If it is your first time in Jerusalem and you are there for four nights, you could arrange two half day tours and spend the rest of the time exploring yourself. If you are having a week in the Tel Aviv, spend one day with a me to see some of the wineries, historic sites or places you may not find on your own.

See my list of tours offered around the country including the beautiful Galilee, Nazareth, Zichron Yaakov, Safed, Acre, Tiberias, Haifa, as well as the Negev and Eilat region!

Akko (Acre) Israel is an old city with a natural port at the northern tip of Haifa Bay. This natural port, standing at the end of the mainland route linking the wealth of the east with the Mediterranean Sea,has made Akko strategically important for thousands of years. As you wander through the old city, you are surrounded by buildings, tunnels, and walls, all from different periods in history.

Akko, especially the old city, is blessed with many attractions including the Inn of columns, the Knights Hospitaller wholes, The ancient fortifications, a colorful market and much more. Akko’s fabulous local market with the charm of an old city, don’t miss ou the excellent baklava sweets shop at the market!

Across from the mosque, you can walk down several levels and see how the Turks built many levels over the Crusaders city. The Knights’ Hall is the most beautiful of all, which was used by the Crusaders for ceremonies. Today the main hall is used for concerts.
