Khan Ein Karem

Khan Ein Karem is an intimate boutique hotel located in a beautifully preserved 19th-century house, whose unique architectural style creates a haven of peace and quiet in the heart of the hills of Ein Kerem.

Each one of the spacious four suites has its own unique character, designed to host couples or families. Every room has either its own balcony overlooking a breathtaking view, a private garden, or an outdoor patio. The rooms and other lovely turns and corners in the hotel immerse our guests in an experience of inspiring design and architecture. In addition, the hotel has a shared roof overlooking the breathtaking view of the Ein Kerem village and the surrounding mountains of Jerusalem. Breakfast is served in our kosher dairy dining room which also offers chef meals, crafted by chef Hemdat Goldberg.

We’re born and raised in Ein Kerem. We spent our childhood running barefoot and carefree in the alleys of the village, basking in the nature surrounding it and in the halls of our parent’s home, which was open and hospitable for all. Dad was a lightning designer for Khan Theater, mom was the owner of a boutique shop, and running around them and their friends, actors, and actresses from Israel and abroad – were we.

The inevitable departure from home was devastating, and we never stopped dreaming about going back to the village, to our lost garden of Eden that contained all our memories from childhood and youth. Now, after it was desolate and abandoned for years, we decided to return to our childhood home and make it a place where we can host our friends and show them the beauty and magic of Ein Kerem.

Flora Valley Boutique Hotel

Flora Valley Boutique Hotel lies in an ancient stone house in the picturesque alleys of Ein Karem, nestled in a lush and magical valley at the foothills of the Jerusalem Mountains. This building features four ancient boutique suites, spectacular in their beauty, whose walls allow you to feel the resounding history of many years. These are reflected in the arched and asymmetrical form of the spaces, in addition to thick stone walls, arched windows, unique flooring and Armenian-style design elements that preserve their historical character in the suites along with comfortable and prestigious modern functionality.

Elma Arts Complex Luxury Hotel

Elma is a hotel and arts complex that uniquely combines luxurious hotel accommodation with the best in international music, plastic and performing arts. Spanning more than 100 acres, Elma stands on the edge of the Carmel ridge, overlooking a spectacular view of the Mediterranean coastline and a green patchwork of fields and wooded slopes. The historic building is considered one of Israel’s architectural highlights, and won its designer, Yaacov Rechter, the Israel Prize in Architecture.

After years of use following its inauguration in 1968, the magnificent building was gradually abandoned, to a point where it was scheduled for demolishing. It was at that point that Lily Elstein, a scion of the founders of Zichron Ya’acov, came to its rescue. Like her pioneer ancestors, who founded the village a hundred and forty years ago, Ms Elstein decided to undertake a pioneering mission of her own: to breathe life in the abandoned building and transform it into a hotel and arts complex. Ms. Elstein acquired the place in 2005, and founded Elma. After more than ten years of strenuous preservation and restoration work, the Elma Arts Complex and Luxury Hotel opened its gates to reveal its old-new beauty to the world. This magnificent complex boasts 95 well appointed hotel rooms, a fine restaurant, a spa and an enchanting pool overlooking the Carmel mountain and the coastline; but it is also home to a comprehensive world of art, populated by creations from some of the most prominent Israeli artists.

There is much to discover at Elma: the expansive galleries, where pictures are illuminated by natural but never direct sunlight; the fascinating sculptures standing in open-air patios or in the beautiful and spacious gardens; the amphitheater (one of four) with a view to the sea and setting sun; and the highlight, two concert halls equipped with the latest in design, acoustics and technology that host local and international top performers and composers. All these make Elma a rare gem of hospitality and art.

The hotel’s history was discovered by chance during the its 11-year-long construction and renovation. British architect John Pawson, who designed the hotel, in collaboration with local architect Ramy Gill, said that the team always believed the excavations would unearth something of historical value. That was indeed the case and both an ancient 13th century wall, as well as an ancient courtyard was discovered. The courtyard now hosts the hotel’s central courtyard and pool.

The Setai

Situated along the Mediterranean Sea, Tel Aviv coastline and Jaffa Port, The Setai Tel Aviv is offering sophistication and tranquility at the crossroads of modern and ancient Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Housed within a historic Ottoman building, once used as a jailhouse, The Setai Tel Aviv offers an enviable entryway to the wonders of the Jaffa Port, Tel Aviv’s full beach coastline and steps away from the city’s bustling boulevards and urban hub.

The 120-room luxury property comprises five buildings of the former and historical Ottoman prison and police station, imaginatively transformed with contemporary touches and classic refurbishments. The Setai Tel Aviv’s marble and stone corridors connect the buildings and converge within a central courtyard. Original design details and stonework harmoniously compliment modern accents, converging with the restored Turkish Hamam Spa and infinity rooftop pool overlooking the entire Tel Aviv skyline – for breathtaking views from sunrise to sunset.

Located in the heart of the ancient port city of Jaffa, The Setai Tel Aviv beach hotel is as historic as the neighbourhood that surrounds it. Authentic, sophisticated, and welcoming, The Setai Tel Aviv merges the history and heritage of Jaffa with the lavish trappings of a modern-day metropolis.
