Explore Inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre at Home

This interactive virtual tour of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre lets you discover inside the most significant church in the Christian faith from the comfort of your own home. Virtually walk through the inner corridors of the church in this high-resolution visual of both Calvary (Golgotha) and the tomb where Christ was believed to be buried and resurrected. The virtual tour can be accessed online any time of day or night from your own screen.

As a 360-degree navigable experience, you can journey through the Church of the Holy Sepulchre at your own leisure, stopping to pray or reflect in the privacy of your own home. Explore the Chapel of Saint James, the Stone of Anointing, the Armenian Chapel of St. Helena, and the Golgotha chapels in this immersive tour. You can zoom seamlessly and rotate or pan the picture to get up close to the ornate details, glowing candles, and marble flooring inside the church – without dealing with the crowds.

Ideal for students, teachers, or anyone who is unable to make the journey to Israel for one reason or another, the virtual tour of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is one not to be missed. It’s the next best option to being there in person, with the added benefit of taking time to pause without feeling rushed or pressured to move out of the way by other visitors. The virtual tour can also be used for research purposes or for those who want another look after visiting in person previously. It’s a highly accessible tool that opens up the doors to the church to even more followers of Christ, as well as those who have an appreciation for world religions.

🌍 Celebrating One Year of the Jewish Silk Road Portal

World Jewish Travel was thrilled at #IMTM 2024 to present a copy of the WJT Jewish Silk Road Pressbook to the CEO of the Azerbaijan National Tourism Board Florian Sengstschmid and Jamilya Talibzade its Israeli representative Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB).

The Pressbook celebrates the one year anniversary of the Jewish Silk Road Portal launch, an amazing example of using Jewish travel as a means of cultural diplomacy, whilst highlighting the significant Jewish contribution to the ancient trade route. Kudos to our participating partners from the Kiriaty Foundation (Turkey), National Board of Tourism of #Georgia, National Board of Tourism of #Uzbekistan, and Israeli Embassy of #India.

See the overwhelming reaction from the press, by downloading our free pressbook. Special thanks to Moshe Gilad of the @haaretzcom for highlighting this forgotten but important story in the Galeria section of the newspaper and available to download on WJT.
