Morduch, the Kurdish legacy, is a family establishment which opened in 1982 and has been feeding thousands of more-than-satisfied diners over the years. From its acclaimed kubbeh soup to its outstanding moussaka, it is no wonder the restaurant flourishes to this day. The fantastic food is made from only the freshest ingredients, and Morduch serves as a reminder of what makes genuine homestyle cuisine. Although the founder, Mordechai ‘Morduch’ Agai, passed away in 1990, his traditions and culinary style have been kept very much alive and are strictly observed by his successors. World Jewish Travel was thrilled at #IMTM 2024 to present a copy of the WJT Jewish Silk Road Pressbook to the CEO of the Azerbaijan National Tourism Board Florian Sengstschmid and Jamilya Talibzade its Israeli representative Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB).
The Pressbook celebrates the one year anniversary of the Jewish Silk Road Portal launch, an amazing example of using Jewish travel as a means of cultural diplomacy, whilst highlighting the significant Jewish contribution to the ancient trade route. Kudos to our participating partners from the Kiriaty Foundation (Turkey), National Board of Tourism of #Georgia, National Board of Tourism of #Uzbekistan, and Israeli Embassy of #India.
