We start our cooking day with fresh, high quality vegetables brought to us daily from the market. All of our food is 100% fresh, no Additives, no Preservatives.

La Hummuseria was born in Madrid in 2015 by Shai & Lotem, an Israeli couple with a passion for food and people.

Ghimel Garden

Ghimel is the third letter of the Hebrew alphabet, but the same is true for the Ghetto di G and the gondola G, two elements that identify the Jews of Venice on the one hand and the symbols of the Serenissima on the other. The Ghimel Garden Palace, located at the Papafava palace, offers several rooms for all types of events, ideal for families, couples and organized events (weddings, birthday parties, catering, and Shabbat).

For a dairy kosher dining experience head to the Ghimel Garden, sure to satisfy a wide array of cravings with its diverse menu, offering foods ranging from the traditional chickpea-based falafel, to the tomato-heavy stew of Shakshuka, creamy Italian pastas, veggie-rich salads and herb infused fish. Ghimel is vegan and gluten-free friendly. It’s menu is infused with Mediterranean and traditional “Jewish cuisine” influences. The family-friendly space is open to business Sunday through Saturday, yet remains closed during Shabbat hours.

Gam Gam

Gam Gam has been serving both local and international customers in Venice for over fifteen years, and is the best-known kosher restaurant in the Jewish hub. The food-gem is renowned for its menu, cultivated from the finest ingredients by its renowned house chef, its laid-back atmosphere, and more-than-friendly staff. The spot retains in authenticity with a ‘resident Venetian’ – a staff member whose local blood runs deep, tracing back to the Venetian Jewish community of the 15th century.

Nestled in the former Jewish ghetto with a canal-front view is Gam Gam, Venice’s first Kosher eatery and brainchild of Orthodox Jews originally from New York. The restaurant opens its doors to customers Sunday through Friday for lunch and dinner, drawing in crowds with their diverse menu offerings, ranging from Mediterranean Middle Eastern foods, to traditional Italian and Spanish dishes.

What’s more, you can relax at one of our outdoor tables and enjoy the view of the Guglie Bridge on the beautiful Cannaregio Canal, which flows into the Grand Canal. Far beyond the amazing food and view, since its opening in 1996, GAM GAM has been dedicated to preserving an active Jewish life in the world’s first Ghetto, this important part of Venetian history. Every time you eat in GAM GAM, you are becoming a part of living history.

Ellis Kosher Kitchen

Perhaps unsurprisingly, people do not normally associate traditional Jewish home cooking within the textured multicultural fabric of the UAE- let alone it’s much stricter Kosher protocols! When Elli moved into the community with her husband and three children back in 2013, this cultural gap combined with the lack of readily available Kosher products in the UAE served to strengthen Elli’s sense of purpose.

Elli was born and proudly raised in South Africa by Greek parents. She is a Sociologist and self-professed foodie with a deep respect for ancient history and culture which naturally led her to live in multiple cities around the world including Argentina. Her appreciation for traditional Jewish and Kosher food has made it difficult to eat in restaurants therefore she decided to invite people into her own kitchen and Elli’s Kosher Kitchen was born!

Over the years, Elli has blended her multicultural family recipes with local flavors to create unique, mouthwatering “Kosherati” dishes that are both familiar to locals and meant to be generously shared with loved ones of all ages.

What started out as a way to help travelers extend their time in Dubai for business or to explore its wonderful cityscape and world-class marvels has led to a growing demand for fresh Kosher meals as well as Jewish cuisine in general for the local population of Emiratis and expats.

To make sure her meals meet strict Kosher food prep protocols, she maintains two separate kitchens (1 for meat and 1 for dairy) and welcomes regular inspections from international rabbis.

By providing Kosher food to travelers and residents in the UAE, Elli’s hope is that you will feel the hospitality, warmth, and quality of service characteristic to this part of the world and embraced by her family.

Little Tiberias Restaurant

Little Tiberias is a quality chef-restaurant with a menu featuring gourmet French Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant is located inside a building that forms part of the ancient city wall of Tiberias and that dates back to Roman times. Its special setting, as well as the beautifully planned interior, grant Little Tiberias an exclusive European atmosphere, like a little French Riviera on the shore of the Sea of Galilee.

The restaurant is family-owned, and was opened by Rafi, the head of the family and the founder. The whole family are culinary specialists, with generations of acquired knowledge. They are headed by the restaurant’s chef, David Oudiz, whose kitchen produces excellent original dishes – starters, appetizers, soups and pastas, and succulent main dishes of fish, meat and seafood.

As befits a beautifully designed, romantic restaurant in a tourist destination, the clientele of Little Tiberias is very varied – guests are of all ages, foreign and Israeli tourists, couples, and regular clients from the city and the surrounding region who enjoy their dining experience and come back again and again. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a blend of harmonious background music – classical jazz, romantic music, and popular hits.

In the 1980s, the building housed a famous pub that was a major leisure attraction in Tiberias and for residents of the region. Later, an Italian restaurant was opened, but in recent years the site was renovated and improved. Some dishes on the menu (like our renowned steak with pepper and cream), remain as before, with all the tradition and know-how that the family accumulated.

The restaurant, designed by architect Gadi Shamir, has two wings: the old, authentic wing, with beautiful wood elements of old telephone poles carved in classic style, with wooden wine racks, and a mural painted by the famous Tiberias-born artist – Amos Yaskil. The beautiful new wing is larger, and now offers a bar that’s perfect for drinking wine and spirits, and for dining too. You can also sit on the spacious balcony, with its windows offering impressive views. We are happy to cater private events in a separate room.

Rosemary Restaurant

Rosemary Restaurant was established in 2014 by Gassan Touma, a local citizen of Nazareth, the City of Annunciation and hometown of young Jesus. Rosemary Restaurant is located at Mary’s well, where it is believed to be the place the angel Gabriel appeared to vergin Mary: “And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.” The restaurant itself was an ancient Hammam. You can still see the old stone reserved in the building which is over 200 years old.

The decor is a mix of vintage and retro design. The oak tables indoors provide a clear view of the fresh veggie baskets on top and the chef working in the kitchen, and that is to show the freshness of the ingredients used coming straight from the market onto a customer’s dish. There is also an outdoor dining amid the olive trees, alongside Mary’s Well, which offers another taste to the authenticity of the place.

The menu offers a mix of local Nazarene and European cuisine. It has a wide variety of delicious and mouth watering starters and main courses.
