Taj Mahal’s Bedouin tent is available for events including up to 300 guests: weddings, Hina parties, Bar Mizvas, birthdays etc.

Taj Mahal offers you unique hospitality that combines east with west. Come enjoy the amazing view of the Dead Sea and breathtaking hills and the magical oriental atmosphere.

The air-conditioned Bedouin tent, decorated in a Moroccan style with seating on high mats, is the perfect place to hold events of all sorts (for up to 200 people). At Taj Mahal you will be hosted with Middle Eastern music, dancing, a rich and varied menu including all sorts of drinks and the crowing glory – a belly dancer and drumming circle.

At Taj Mahal you can enjoy the best of the Middle Eastern kitchen. Recommended dishes include: Mixed grill, pita with olive oil and labane, a selection of Middle Eastern salads and more.

Kaparuchka

An Italian/Moldovian/Israeli reastaurant in Arad near the dead sea serving Pizza, Calzone & Foccacia baked in a real hand made Italian brick oven
with fresh salads, sandwitches and homemade desserts.

Baobar Ein Gedi Hotel Restaurant

The café that enjoys all worlds – overlooking a large lawn with the Kibbutz’s two oldest baobab trees on one side, and the magical primordial landscape of the Dead Sea and Moab Mountains on the other. The café is named for the baobab tree planted in the middle of its deck, providing shade and exotic beauty and blurring the lines between the fabricated and natural environment. The Baobar menu consists of natural, simple and quality ingredients, many of which are the herbs that grow in the surrounding botanical garden.

Various bands perform at the restaurant on Friday evenings, presenting assorted genres, including folk, blues, Israeli songs and more.

Opening hours: Sunday – Thursday, 10:00-23:00 | Saturday 10:00-23:00 | The kitchen is open between 13:00-22:00

In addition, the hotel restaurant offers an open, rich, fresh and indulgent buffet.

Our breakfast is known for its wide variety of prepared salads, sliced vegetables, eggs of choice, various hot, zesty and sweet dishes, a large dessert bar and many other treats that will guarantee that your morning starts with a smile in an indulgent atmosphere. At dinner, we serve a rich meat buffet with a huge assortment of fresh and tasty dishes, a large salad bar, quality dessert bar and more.

Zimska luka / Winter Harbour (Hotel Osijek)

Zimska luka restaurant is located in the city centre, with the view onto the Drava river and beautiful green landscape on the opposite bank. It offers Slavonian traditional cuisine, popular dishes and exotic specialties, so it is a good choice for a business lunch, family gathering or a romantic dinner . The menu offers meat dishes, homemade pasta and fish specialties, including a delicious grilled perch.
Besides the high quality of food and service, the restaurant offers a very pleasant atmosphere.

Delicatessen 79/81

Delicatessen is a deli located in central Tel Aviv known for its baked-goods, salads, sandwiches and on-the-go foods. Not only is the food great, but the atmosphere and outdoor seating make it great for dining in for breakfast or lunch. This restaurant uses low-heat in their cooking to create a variety of options and flavors, and uses the most high-quality products to prepared foods fresh each day. About 9 years ago, Delicatessen expanded their restaurants and bakeries to make it convenient for consumers to stop by and grab a bouquet of flowers, desserts, deli foods, cheeses, breads, and a bottle of wine. The owner of Delicatessens is well-known throughout Israel and has several other successful establishments throughout the country that always receive high praise for their quality of food and service.

Troja

Troja is a Middle Eastern in the heart of Szeged, serving burgers, pizzas, and baked rice puddings. The restaurant prides itself on its friendly staff, variety of food, and low prices.

Green Garden 145

Green Garden 145 has not only one, but two key points. First of all, it fully lives up to its name, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere with various green plants at the open terrace. And second, it’s a perfect place to watch football games playing on a big screen in the open salon, while enjoying the real hookah. The cuisine offers national and European dishes and experience of traditional Samovar tea, which you can enjoy while playing board games (backgammon and domino) with friends. Green garden 145 has 1500 m2 area filled with 370 seats at open and closed terraces, big open salon and comfortable private rooms, and offers private parking area for customers.

Ariel Restaurant

The name “Ariel” originates from the Old Testament and is one of four archangels. The name can also be pronounced “Uriel” meaning “the Light of God”. Ariel is a restaurant, cafe, and gallery located in the center of the Kazimierz Jewish Quarter. This area of town is full of life with 5 synagogues nearby and lots of history. Inside the restaurant, there’s a  dining room that seats 45 guests located on the first floor of the antique Jewish tenement-house from the 16th century. There is also a larger dining room for 80 guests on second-floor filled with hundreds of paintings and Klezmer Jewish music and seating areas in the basement and gallery room.

Mazaya Falafel

Mazaya serves traditional falafel dishes bursting with Mediterranean flavors. At either of their three locations, you’ll find someone of the best tahini, pita, and hummus in town served in either sandwich or salad style.  This restaurant wants everyone to enjoy their falafel and offers several vegan and vegetarian options. Visitors who review this restaurant describe Mazaya as being a reasonably priced cafe where you can enjoy a colorful falafel dish in a cozy atmosphere.

The Pressbook celebrates the one year anniversary of the Jewish Silk Road Portal launch, an amazing example of using Jewish travel as a means of cultural diplomacy, whilst highlighting the significant Jewish contribution to the ancient trade route. Kudos to our participating partners from the Kiriaty Foundation (Turkey), National Board of Tourism of #Georgia, National Board of Tourism of #Uzbekistan, and Israeli Embassy of #India.
