Fabrangen is a community devoted to Torah, community service, and social justice activism. We warmly welcome everyone regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religious background or affiliation, nationality, disability, or age.
We are a havurah, a fellowship that is led by its members, not by one rabbi (although we have members who are rabbis). Our services are full of vitality and depth because Fabrangen members are engaged leaders and participants.
Founded in 1971, we are interwoven into the larger Jewish community of the Washington area, but small enough that you will feel connected and appreciated.

OneTable
Our social dining platform makes it easy for you to become the producer of your own experiences, and for Shabbat dinner to become a platform for community building.
We provide simple DIY tools so hosts can get right to welcoming people to a Shabbat dinner in their home, so guests can savor a Friday meal, and for all to experience unique events for Shabbat dinners right in their neighborhood. We do this because we believe good food and good conversation with great people is simply good for you.
Led by our core values of joy, welcoming, and elevation, we envision a whole generation of young people slowing down, getting together, unplugging from the week, creating intention in their lives, and building meaningful communities.

Shabbat in Krakow
The Jewish Community Centre of Krakow is the primary institution providing social, educational, and community oriented services to the Jewish community of Krakow. Opened in April 2008 by HRH, The Prince of Wales, the JCC has quickly established itself as the focal point of Jewish life in the city both for Krakowians as well as visitors from Poland and abroad.
Chabad
Shabbat is a day of rest that lasts from sundown on Friday evening through nightfall on Saturday night. In addition to a plethora of things that observant Jews will famously not do on Shabbat (such as driving, working, or turning on a light switch), there are a host of things we do do in order to “make the Shabbat a delight” (in the words of Isaiah 58:13).
A big part of the “delight” of Shabbat is the enjoyment of three Shabbat meals, mainly the first two—Friday night dinner and Shabbat lunch—that are elegantly prepared, preceded by the sipping of ceremonial kiddush wine and the breaking of traditional challah bread, and lingered over with songs, inspiring thoughts and camaraderie. (The third meal, eaten late on Shabbat afternoon, is normally lighter.)
If you are joining as a guest, the first thing for you to know is that guests are considered an integral part of any Shabbat meal. Your hosts are very happy to have you—their meal just would not feel right otherwise!
Havayah Shabbat
Havayah is committed to revitalizing Cincinnati’s urban Jewish community. We do so through commitment to communal learning, creating and sharing high-quality, ethically-sourced kosher food, and the celebration holidays and of traditional, egalitarian Shabbat services.
A relaxed, warm, welcoming setting. You’re in a cozy space at the ish Garage that’s been curated to be welcoming. Grab a siddur. Find a comfortable seat on the floor or in a chair. Say hello to your neighbor. We open all of our services with a meditation or niggun. You’re welcome to come for the meditation or just services.
A meal you will love that will love you back. Vegetarian food isn’t just good for your heart, it’s got a long Jewish tradition. Our kosher kitchen means that anyone can break bread with us, regardless of their level of kashrut. We provide a kosher veggie main, challah and grape juice. You provide a vegan side dish to share. Let us know at least 48-hours in advance if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies. We’re a nut-free community and always have gluten-free and vegan options.
