In 1942, Anne Frank's family went into hiding for two years. In her diary, Anne looked back wistfully at her time on "the Merry", as she called the square. The Anne Frank House is a writer's house and biographical museum dedicated to Jewish wartime diarist Anne Frank. The building is located on a canal called the Prinsengracht, close to the Westerkerk, in central Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
The history of the Ten Boom family testifies of their love for and commitment to the Jewish people. The museum wants to be an 'open home', as a living memorial to this family who lived as Christians through their obedience to God and experienced His grace every day. View 360 degrees around you at 19 locations, while the digital guide tells the story of Corrie. Various objects can be enlarged, whereby extra information is visible.
We tell the story of Anne Frank, both in the museum and outside.
