The building that is now Casati Budapest Hotel is more than 200 years old and has been beautifully refurbished into a contemporary city gem. Top tourist sites, cafes, and pubs surround the hotel, making it easy to explore the historic city.  The hotel has remained at the top of TripAdvisor since 2012 and is designed specifically for guests over the age of 14. 

Casati Budapest Hotel received a Green Hotel Award by the Hungarian Hotel Association in 2014 for its eco-friendly practices. They use recycled paper only, eco-friendly detergents, and led lighting throughout the majority of the hotel.  Each morning you can enjoy a buffet breakfast full of fruits, vegetables, hot and cold dishes, and fresh pastries. The hotel has a fitness center, sauna, and cocktail bar, and all rooms come equipt with AC and top appliances.

There are 25 uniquely designed rooms to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Outside, you will find a quiet, ivy-covered courtyard, also designed to be a great spot to relax any time of the day. Bohem Art Hotel

Bohem Art Hotel is located in the 5th district and was built in the 17th century. From 1884 to 1894, the building was owned by a famous proprietor, Manfréd Weiss. The Szénásy Írószer és Körzőgyár (stationery factory), which was built in 1903, was also in this building and the factory’s owner, Béla Szénásy, was a stationery wholesaler, the creator of Hungarian paper industry and trade, and the originator of the Budapest International Industry Fair. The factory was famous for its 1944 production of the Schutpasses which was the Swedish legation to protect the Jews during in the Second World War. World Jewish Travel was thrilled at #IMTM 2024 to present a copy of the WJT Jewish Silk Road Pressbook to the CEO of the Azerbaijan National Tourism Board Florian Sengstschmid and Jamilya Talibzade its Israeli representative Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB).

The Pressbook celebrates the one year anniversary of the Jewish Silk Road Portal launch, an amazing example of using Jewish travel as a means of cultural diplomacy, whilst highlighting the significant Jewish contribution to the ancient trade route. Kudos to our participating partners from the Kiriaty Foundation (Turkey), National Board of Tourism of #Georgia, National Board of Tourism of #Uzbekistan, and Israeli Embassy of #India.
